175.5 Limit of on duty time.
When a driver of a motor truck and/or motor bus has been on duty for 14 hours in any consecutive 24 hour period, which time on duty shall include time for meals, even though part of such time shall be outside the State of New York, he shall not continue or again go on duty without having at least eight consecutive hours off duty. A release from duty of less than one hour shall not be deemed to break the continuity of time on duty.
