Fares for travel via the authorities' facilities may from time-to-time be revised by the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The purchase of a fare for travel subjects the purchaser to the terms and conditions for travel via the facility for which transportation is purchased. The purchase of fare media subjects the purchaser to the terms and conditions relating to the use of such fare media. All such terms and conditions, which include procedures for the redemption of unused fare media, are available by writing to the appropriate authority at the address listed in section 1003.2 of this Part.
