(a) The director of the business administration bureau is hereby designated “fiscal officer” within the meaning of this Part. In accordance with his duties, as outlined by the Freedom of Information Law, he shall be responsible for the preparation of itemized records setting forth the title and salary of every officer or employee of the department and, to the extent authorized by the Freedom of Information Law, the name and address of such officer and employee and shall respond to request from bona fide members of the news media to inspect and copy such records.

(b) Request for such information shall be made only upon written forms provided by the fiscal officer or his delegated nominee. Said forms may be obtained at his office in Building 9, State Campus, Albany, NY 12227.

(c) The itemized record shall be available for inspection and copying at the office of the fiscal officer every day that the offices of the department are open for business during the hours—9 a.m. through 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. through 4 p.m.
