(a) When a decision directs the department to perform specific actions, the department may comply as soon as practicable, but not later than 90 days after receipt of the written decision.

(b) The appellant for whose benefit any direction was given must address any inquiry concerning department compliance to the department's Bureau of Special Hearings which will assure compliance with such direction by any means as may be necessary and appropriate.
