Institutions as defined in section 441.2(f) of this Title and group residences as defined in section 441.2(g) of this Title may be approved by social services districts as approved respite care and services providers pursuant Part 435 of this Title; provided, however, that public institutions caring for more than 25 children cannot be approved to provide respite care and services for foster families. Such providers are subject to all applicable requirements of such Part.
