373-1.4 Consideration of income and resources.
In determining the income and resources of applicants for and recipients of RCA, the following may not be considered by a social services district:
(a) any resources remaining in the applicant's country of origin;
(b) a sponsor's income and resources solely because the person is serving as a sponsor; and
(c) any cash grant received by the applicant under the United States Department of State or Department of Justice Reception and Placement Programs. This type of cash grant is made available during the first 30 days from the date of entry into the United States.
