A recipient subject to chronic care budgeting in a medical facility or an intermediate care facility will receive a grant to satisfy unmet needs and expenses if his/her monthly income is less than the amount allowed by the department for incidental needs and expenses. The grant will be from the category of assistance for which he/she is eligible.
