Whenever a highway designation is revised or amended by changes in the vehicle class, termini, length and/or boundary description or by other changes, the revised or amended sections shall become effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State. The prior regulations shall remain in force and effect until such time as the new regulation is filed.
