6I.01 General
INSERT the following paragraphs:
Standard:
01A In New York, the operational practices related to emergency incident responses provided in other Parts of this Manual and the New York State Supplement shall apply to police officers and other emergency responders responding to an emergency only in so far as such officers or emergency responders deem compliance with such Manual practicable.
Support:
01B Chapter 722 of the 2006 Laws of New York modified Section 1680(a) of the New York State Vehicle & Traffic Law regarding the need for police officers and other emergency responders to comply with Chapter 6I.
