15 CRR-NY 43.1
43.1 Vehicles subject to law.
(a) This Part shall apply to all motor vehicles and trailers except motorcycles and limited use motorcycles.
(b) Side view mirrors shall not be considered in determining whether a vehicle is more than 80 inches in width.
(c) A trailer or semitrailer is exempt from headlamps, parking lamps, directional signals, and highway hazard warning lamps or reflectors on the front.
(d) Agricultural equipment consists of agricultural tractors, self-propelled implements of husbandry, and towed, mounted or semi-mounted implements of husbandry. Implement of husbandry shall mean a vehicle designed or adapted exclusively for agricultural, horticultural or livestock raising operations or for lifting or carrying an implement of husbandry. Agricultural equipment lighting requirements are contained in section 43.9 of this Part.
