42.1 Standards for brake fluid.
All hydraulic brake fluid sold within the State of New York for use in hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles shall conform in all respects to Federal motor vehicle safety standard 116, 49 CFR 571.116. This standard may be purchased from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402.
