508.3 Applicability.
(a) This Part applies to any provider of services which has been approved or certified pursuant to Part 551 of this Title to operate an assertive community treatment (ACT) program.
(b) This Part applies to the operation of an ACT program by:
(1) a local governmental unit, general hospital or voluntary agency;
(2) a provider of services licensed pursuant to article 31 of the Mental Hygiene Law;
(3) any part of a general hospital as defined in article 28 of the Public Health Law which is licensed by the office to provide mental health services; or
(4) a State-operated psychiatric center.
