44.0 Purpose.
This regulation governs the use of market-value adjustment formulae in determining cash surrender benefits, the use of withdrawal charges and the availability of cash surrender values under individual deferred annuities subject to section 4223 of the Insurance Law, and the funding and reserves for such annuities with market-value adjustments.
