WILD, SCENIC AND RECREATIONAL RIVERS AND RIVER AREAS
In this appendix are set forth the rivers designated by the wild, scenic and recreational rivers system act as wild, scenic or recreational rivers, together with the boundaries of the river areas of each, as agreed upon by the agency and the Commissioner of Environmental Conservation, and promulgated by the agency. Provision is made in section 577.3 of this Title for the amendment of river area boundaries. In addition, provision is made for modification of boundaries of river areas in connection with agency review and approval of rivers system land management plans pursuant to section 577.9 of this Title. However, amendment of the designations of rivers as wild, scenic or recreational rivers may be accomplished only by legislation.
