2817.1 Technical service and assistance.
(a) The division will render to rural preservation companies such technical services and assistance as it may possess or as may be available to, is to enable such companies to comply with the intent and provision of this Chapter and article XVII of the Private Housing Finance Law.
(b) The division may, subject to the availability of funds appropriated for the purposes of the rural preservation companies program, contract with municipal and other public agencies and with private persons, firms and corporations including rural preservation companies, for the provision of such technical services and assistance.
(c) Assistance may include the provision of technical services in:
(1) preparation and submissions of contract proposals under this Chapter or any other program of governmental assistance;
(2) preparation and submission of required reports;
(3) internal organization and management of companies;
(4) the area of technology transfer between rural preservation companies as selected by the division; and
(5) other technical advice or assistance relating to the performance or rendition of rural preservation companies activities.
