1647-4.1 Purpose of reserve.
The purpose of the replacement reserve is to accumulate funds for the replacement of selected categories of fixed assets at the end of their useful lives, such replacement being necessary to maintain or restore the utility, function or revenue-producing capacity of the project over its statutory life.
