(a) Retired members in possession of a firearms license issued by the superintendent who seek an amendment to the license must apply in person at any troop or zone headquarters of the New York State Police.

(b) The superintendent will amend a license to reflect acquisition of additional firearms a maximum of six times per calendar year for any licensee. There is no limit with regard to disposition of firearms.
