(a) Each person required to obtain a permit, certificate or approval pursuant to the waste transporter permit requirements set forth in title 3 of article 27 of the ECL must annually submit to the department a waste transporter program fee determined as follows:

(b) All persons required to obtain a permit, certificate or approval pursuant to the waste transporter permit requirements set forth in title 15 of article 27 of the ECL shall submit annually to the department a fee in the amount of $500 for the first vehicle permitted, certified or approved for the transportation of regulated medical waste, and $200 for each additional vehicle so permitted, certified or approved, unless exempt from the payment of fees pursuant to ECL-27-1511 and section 484.4 of this Part.

(c) The permit year is used to calculate the waste transporter program fee.

(d) Changes such as license plate numbers, replacement plates or other similar changes that do not result in an increase in the number of permitted vehicles will not require an additional fee.
