150.4 Inspection and testing procedures.
Inspection and testing procedures prescribed in this Part may be performed by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and/or the testing procedures may be performed by the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in cooperation with the department.
(a) For nuclear blocks.
Each plant shall be visually inspected at least twice during each growing season and shall be indexed in an approved manner at least once each year to ascertain the presence of known serious viruses.
(b) For foundation nursery blocks.
Each plant shall be visually inspected at least twice during each growing season and may be indexed in an approved manner at the discretion of the department.
(c) For foundation blocks.
Each plant shall be visually inspected at least twice during each growing season and shall be indexed in an approved manner at least once every four years.
(d) For registered blocks.
Each plant shall be visually inspected and may be indexed in an approved manner at the discretion of the department.
(e) For certified blocks.
Each plant shall be visually inspected and may be indexed in an approved manner at the discretion of the department.
