11.43 Qualifications.
A public health nurse 2 must meet the qualifications for public health nurse 1 and have one year of experience in public hearing nursing. A public health nurse 2 must complete 15 hours of continuing education in public health-related topics approved by the New York State Department of Health within the first year of employment in the title.
