87.6 Sport fishing.
(a) No person shall fish in the area other than in waters which are posted to allow fishing.
(b) No person shall fish in the area from April 1 through July 14 and October 1, through November 30, except that fishing shall be permitted during these periods on those portions of the Feeder Canal and Oak Orchard Creek which are designated by signs as open. The entire refuge is open to fishing from July 15 through September 30.
(c) Ice fishing is permitted on Ringneck and Center pools from December 15 through the last day of February.
(d) No person shall use a boat in the area, except that boats without motors may be used in Oak Orchard Creek from the Knowlesville Road to a wire barrier two miles westward from March 1 through July 14; boating is permitted from Knowlesville Road to State Route 63 from July 15 through September 30. All boaters must obtain a free permit from the refuge headquarters.
(e) No person shall leave boats, structures or other equipment overnight in the area.
