75.2 Hunting.
Hunting outside areas posted with “restricted area” or “parking area” signs is permitted in accordance with the following regulations:
(a) Hunting is permitted for cottontail rabbits and waterfowl only.
(b) Not more than three hunters shall hunt together in any one party.
(c) Not more than two dogs shall be used by any individual hunter or hunting party. All dogs shall be kept under control at all times.
(d) No target or promiscuous shooting is permitted on the area. No rifle or pistol shall be carried or used on the area.
(e) Any person hunting on the Fire Island National Seashore Cooperator Area shall, upon request, show any game taken to personnel of either the Fire Island National Seashore or the Department of Environmental Conservation.
