(a) Advance reservations are required on the Rocky Point Natural Resources Management Area and adjacent Suffolk County Cooperative Lands for: November 1st, Election Day, Veterans Day, and each Saturday and Sunday from November 1st through December 31st. The department reserves the right to require reservations for Mondays that precede a Tuesday holiday, Fridays that follow a Thursday holiday, and weekday stocking dates, as deemed necessary. The department will establish specific procedures for making reservations and make information on procedures available through the Regional Wildlife Office in Stony Brook. Advance reservations are also required, on all areas, for each day of the January deer season and can be made by those determined eligible by a random drawing. The drawing shall establish the order in which applicants may select a single date and site to hunt. Only those who have obtained town permits as required by section 1.24 of this Title are eligible to hunt additional days on a standby basis. Drawing applicants must possess a valid New York State Big Game License.

A permittee shall surrender his or her hunting license upon receiving a permit.
(2) On the David A.
