6 CRR-NY 54.6
54.6 General provisions.
The following acts are prohibited on all portions of an Area:
(a) disorderly conduct including but not limited to:
(1) use of abusive or obscene language or making an obscene gesture;
(2) engaging in or encouraging fighting or violent or threatening behavior;
(3) engaging in any behavior which may endanger the safety of persons or property; and
(4) obstructing vehicular or pedestrian traffic;
(b) intoxication;
Unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, no person under 21 years of age shall possess alcoholic beverages. Persons age 21 or over who possess alcoholic beverages must produce adequate identification and proof of age upon demand of any peace or police officer;
(c) fires are prohibited on any dike/dam, truck trail, or designated parking area. Fires may be restricted in other locations by posted notice;
(d) domestic hoofed animals including, but not limited to horses and llamas may not be walked or ridden on an Area unless a temporary revocable permit is obtained from the Regional Office of the Department of Environmental Conservation, 317 Washington Street, Watertown, NY 13601;
(e) target or indiscriminate shooting is prohibited;
(f) defacing, disturbing, injuring or befouling any part of an Area including buildings, signs, equipment or other property is prohibited;
(g) hunting, fishing, trapping, or trespassing is prohibited on any portion of an Area which is designated by posted notice against such activity; and
(h) all persons present on an area must comply with the reasonable demands or directions of any authorized person or sign.
