8 CRR-NY 167.2
167.2 Definitions.
As used in this Part:
(a) Agency means a person or persons, a firm, a corporation or a private organization making application for approval.
(b) Approved means approved by the Commissioner of Education for programs operated pursuant to section 123 and section 141(o) of JTPA.
(c) Basic skills means basic literacy, pre-high school equivalency, high school equivalency, English as a second language and computer literacy.
(d) Curriculum means a series of intended learning outcomes which together comprise a program of instruction.
(e) Occupational skills means those abilities necessary to obtaining and maintaining employment which have a demonstrable and direct relationship to employment.
