Dear Sheriff Jones:
*1 Attorney General Mike Moore has received your letter of request and has assigned it to the undersigned for research and reply. In your letter you state:
*1 Is it legal for a Justice Court Judge to wear or carry a weapon on his person at any time?
*1 For the purposes of this opinion this office will assume that the intent of your question is whether or not the office of Justice Court Judge allows the officeholder to carry a deadly weapon.
*1 It is the opinion of this office that the office of Justice Court Judge does not convey said officeholder the inherent right to carry a concealed deadly weapon.
