RULE 6-109. OTHER JURISDICTIONS--LAWS OF DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP
(a) Generally. A relationship established under the laws of domestic partnership of another jurisdiction shall be recognized as a registered domestic partnership in this State if the laws establishing the relationship are substantially similar to the requirements of Code, Estates and Trusts Article, § 2-214.
(b) Certified List. With the advice and assistance of the Attorney General, the registers of wills shall establish, update, and maintain a statewide certified list of jurisdictions with laws of domestic partnership that are substantially similar to the requirements of Code, Estates and Trusts Article, § 2-214.
