§ 19-407. Fines and penalties
(a) A person who violates any provision of this subtitle or § 19-301 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 2 years or both.
(b) A person who violates any provision of this subtitle or § 19-301 of this title is subject to a civil fine not exceeding $50,000 to be assessed by the Board in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board.
