RULE 3-622. TRANSMITTAL TO ANOTHER COUNTY
(a) Original Judgment. Upon request of a person holding a judgment, the clerk shall transmit a certified copy to the clerk of the District Court in another county of this State and shall maintain a record of the transmittal. Upon receiving a certified copy of a judgment from another county, the receiving clerk shall record the judgment.
(b) When Judgment Vacated, Modified, or Satisfied. When a judgment is vacated, modified, or satisfied, the clerk shall transmit a certified notice of that action to each clerk to whom a certified copy of the judgment was transmitted pursuant to section (a) of this Rule and Rule 3-621(c)(1) and to each circuit court clerk to whom a Notice of Lien of Judgment was transmitted pursuant to Rule 3-621.
