RULE 7-501. APPLICABILITY
Currentness
The rules in this Chapter govern appeals to a circuit court from a judgment or order of an orphans' court.
Committee note: In Harford County and Montgomery County, direct appeal to the Court of Special Appeals is the only method of appellate review of a judgment of the Orphans' Court. See Code, Courts Article, ยง 12-502. In all other jurisdictions, the appellant has the option of a direct appeal to the Court of Special Appeals or an appeal to the circuit court for the county.
