§ 9-404. Legal claims--Generally

Scope of section
(a) This section applies only to code counties and commission counties.
County authority to sue
(b) The county commissioners may sue and be sued.
Legal proof of claim required
(c) The county commissioners may not pay a claim against the county unless:
(1) the claim is payable by the county; and
(2) the claimant produces legal proof of the claim.
