RULE 6-331. PUBLICATION
(a) Notice of Appointment of the First Personal Representative--Administrative or Judicial Probate. Upon appointment of the first personal representative, whether under administrative or judicial probate, the Notice of Appointment (Rule 6-311) shall be published once a week for three successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the county of appointment.

(b) Delivery of Published Notice. Within 20 days after appointment, the personal representative shall cause to be delivered to the register a sufficient number of copies of the first publication of the Notice of Appointment for filing and for delivery to all interested persons. The register shall send a copy to each interested person together with the Notice to Interested Persons required by Rule 6-317.

(c) Certificate of Publication. The personal representative shall cause to be filed with the register a certification that the required newspaper notice has been published.
