RULE 16-1002. COORDINATION WITH GOVERNOR
Upon the declaration of any emergency by the Governor pursuant to Code, Title 14 of the Public Safety Article, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, directly or through designees, shall, to the extent practicable, consult with the Governor, the Governor's designees, the Maryland Emergency Management Agency, and, as appropriate, other Executive Branch officials, in order to coordinate Judicial and Executive Branch responses to the emergency.
