§ 13-4401. Cannabis Use Baseline Study
(a) The Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Cannabis Commission, in consultation with the Department, the Behavioral Health Administration, the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services, the Maryland Poison Center, the State's designated Health Information Exchange, and the Maryland Hospital Association, shall conduct, or contract with an institution of higher education or a private research entity to conduct, a comprehensive baseline study of cannabis use in the State that includes a survey of:
(b) On or before March 1, 2023, the Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Cannabis Commission shall submit a report of the findings of the baseline study conducted under subsection (a) of this section to the Governor and, in accordance with § 2-1257 of the State Government Article, the Senate Finance Committee, the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, and the House Health and Government Operations Committee.
(c) On or before March 1, 2025, and every other year thereafter, the Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Cannabis Commission shall:
