Rule 203 Guilty pleas (jury trials)
When a defendant's case has been scheduled for a trial by jury, all reasonable efforts should be made to prevent unnecessary delay of the trial and inconvenience to the jury. Attorneys and defendants are to use their best efforts toward settlement and should exhaust completely all efforts toward settlement no later than 3:00 p.m. the last business day prior to the trial date in order to permit the Court to schedule the entry of a defendant's guilty plea or the Commonwealth's Motion to Dismiss and to notify the jury.
