Rule 13. Guardianship, mental health & disability Proceedings
13.01. Court Calendar.
Emergency Guardianships, mental health, and disability cases will be scheduled within the time limits of the applicable statutes as directed by the presiding Judge.
13.02. Motions.
Motions concerning mental health, guardianship, and disability cases shall be heard within the normal disability docket for each respective county.
13.03. Emergency Petitions.
Emergency petitions for disability will be heard within seven (7) days of the request, and the burden shall be upon the party to show that an emergency exists which endangers the health and safety and/or the protection of the person's property which becomes necessary prior to the trial.
