§ 3999.402. Off-Site Emergency Health Care Attention.
(a) Emergency health care attention. If an inmate is away from a facility for authorized reasons, such as assignment to a camp or transportation between institutions, and becomes seriously ill or injured, emergency health care attention by available resources shall be obtained by the official in charge. Community physicians and hospitals shall be used if the patient's condition does not permit prompt return to a Department medical facility.
