§ 3999.350. Aversive Therapy.
The use of any drug, electronic stimulation of the brain, or infliction of physical pain when used as an aversive or reinforcing stimulus in a program of aversive, classical or operant conditioning is not and will not be performed on persons committed to or in the custody of the Secretary. Nothing in this section prohibits the administration of drugs intended to cause negative physical reactions to the ingestion of alcohol or drugs unless part of a program of aversive conditioning.
