§ 17714. Commingling of Age Categories.
(a) Except as provided for in section 17713(d) and (e), whenever groups of children that are younger or older than CSPP age eligible children are commingled with CSPP age eligible children, and the younger age group exceeds 50 percent of the total number of children in attendance, the ratios for the entire group must meet the ratios required for the younger age group.
(b) If the younger age group does not exceed 50 percent of the total number of the children in attendance, the teacher-child and adult-child ratios shall be computed separately for each group.
