§ 30316.61. Instruments Used by Mammography Medical Physicists.
(a) Instruments used by mammography medical physicists to measure the air kerma or air kerma rate from a radiation machine used for mammography shall be calibrated at least once every two years and each time the instrument is repaired. The instrument calibration shall be traceable to a national standard and calibrated with an accuracy of plus or minus 6.0% (95% confidence level) in the mammography energy range.
