(a) Each vehicle must pass the visual and operational inspection required by the Consumer Assistance Program, performed by the dismantler or BAR representative, and conducted on-site at the dismantler location. The inspection requirements for the Consumer Assistance Program are defined in sections 3394.4(b)(7) and 3394.4(b)(8) of title 16 of Division 33, Article 11 of the California Code of Regulations. Vehicles failing the inspection requirements may be re-inspected by the dismantler or BAR representative for compliance with these requirements at any time after modifications have been made to the vehicle to correct any deficiencies.
