§ 80.4000. Definition of “Applicant” and Scope.
(a) In this Article, “applicant” means a corporation or limited liability company which has filed a substantially complete application with the Commissioner for a license.
(b) This Article contains regulations relating to the issuance of a license pursuant to Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 2030) of the Money Transmission Act. This Subarticle contains general provisions relating to the issuance of a license. Subarticle 2 (commencing with Section 80.4100) of this Article contains regulations relating to an application for a license. Subarticle 3 (commencing with Section 80.4200) of this Article contains regulations which set forth administrative standards and procedures relating to an application for a license. Subarticle 4 (commencing with Section 80.4300) of this Article contains regulations relating to matters after an application for a license is approved by the Commissioner.
