§ 1438.28. Salad Products, Excessive Moisture Defined and Tolerance.
Excessive moisture means free liquid exceeding ½ of 1 c.c. for each pound of finished product within a container, provided, however, the entire lot averages within the specified tolerance for excessive moisture, individual containers may exceed up to double the tolerance and 1/10 of the containers may exceed double the tolerance.
