Currentness
(a) Map 5.
Map 5 shows designated explosives routes for the Sacramento area and a map box as Map 5A specifically for the Sacramento and Woodland areas. Map 5 includes Interstate 5, State Route 20, and State Route 99 across the map, US 101 and State Route 1 across the southwest corner of map, Interstate 80 across the southeast corner of the map, Interstate 680 between Interstate 80 and the south edge of Map 5 near Walnut Creek, Interstate 780 between Interstate 80 and Interstate 680, State Route 4 between Interstate 80 and the southeast corner of Map 5 near Stockton, State Route 37 between US 101 and Interstate 80, State Route 26 between State Route 99 and the southeast corner of Map 5 near Linden, State Route 88 between State Route 99 and the southeast edge of Map 5 near Martell, State Route 12 between Interstate 80 and State Route 88, State Route 16 between State Route 20 and the west edge of Map 5A near Sacramento and between the east edge of Map 5A and the east edge of Map 5 east of Sacramento, US 50 between the east edge of Map 5A and the east edge of Map 5 east of Sacramento, Interstate 505 between Interstate 5 and Interstate 80, State Route 49 between upper east edges of Map 5 near Grass Valley and middle east edge of Map 5 near Auburn, State Route 65 between State Route 70 and the north edge of Map 5A near Sacramento, State Route 193 between Interstate 80 and State Route 65 (due to the realignment construction for State Route 65, Lincoln Boulevard may be used to connect State Route 193 and State Route 65; however, requiring a rulemaking in the near future), State Route 70 between the north edge of Map 5A near Sacramento and the northeast corner of Map 5 near Keddie, State Route 149 between State Route 70 and State Route 99, State Route 32 between Interstate 5 and the north edge of Map 5 near Lomo, State Route 113 between State Route 99 and the north edge of Map 5A near Sacramento, and a small section of Scandia Road (which does not exist anymore, Walters Road and Petersen Road may serve for this purpose to access the Travis Air Force Base; however, requiring a rulemaking in the near future). Map 5 also shows four inspection stops near Santa Rosa, Suisun City, Novato, and San Rafael.​
(b) Restrictions.
(1) Use of Tennessee Street in Vallejo is prohibited.
(2) Mare Island Annex of the Concord Naval Weapons Station is located at the south end of Mare Island off SR-37.
(3) Golden Gate Bridge. Northbound vehicles shall stop for inspection and bridge escort at the Toll Plaza. Southbound vehicles shall stop for inspection and bridge escort at the north abutment of the bridge. No vehicles transporting explosives are permitted on the bridge between 0630 and 0930 hours and between 1600 and 1900 hours on weekdays.
