§ 790.2. Destruction of Swine to Prevent the Spread of Vesicular Exanthema.
(a) When deemed necessary by the Branch Chief in order to prevent the continuation and the spread of vesicular exanthema, he may require all swine in a quarantined district, infected with the disease or exposed to such disease, to be destroyed, and the carcasses disposed of under the supervision of a representative of the Branch.
(b) The Branch Chief may require that guards be stationed in and about all quarantined areas to police the same, and to enforce the law and regulations relating to vesicular exanthema.
(c) When swine are destroyed in a quarantined district as provided by this section, the Branch Chief may require such premises as he deems necessary to be cleaned, disinfected and tested under the direction of a representative of the Branch before such premises are released from quarantine.
