§ 999.504. Identification of Intended Seller or Pledger.
Currentness
(a) The secondhand dealer or pawnbroker shall record and maintain the identification information of the intended seller or pledger, as specified in section 999.506(c)(1)(A)-(M), pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 21628, subdivision (e)(1).
(b) The person taking the information shall verify that the identification presented by the intended seller or pledger contains a photograph or physical description, or both.
