The taking of samples and the technique followed in determining the bacterial content of milk or cream, when taken for determining value or upon which basis for payment is made, must be in a manner described in “Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products”, 17^th Edition, of the American Public Health Association. Such samples must be representative and must be taken from the container from which the milk is sold, at least once each half month.
