(a) To the extent practicable, the SPAC shall receive training on the following:
(1) Procedures for council governance such as Robert's Rules of Order.
(2) Methods to run effective, efficient, and productive meetings.
(3) State and federal migrant education statutes, rules, regulations, and guidelines applicable to the SPAC.
(b) Training for the SPAC shall continue as needed throughout the year. Training topics may include, but are not limited to the following:
(1) Parent leadership in schools.
(2) MEP local funding applications.
(3) Program effectiveness components such as program evaluation, identification of migrant student needs, program planning, and implementation of instruction and services.
