1. New section filed 2-23-2023 without regulatory effect pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2023, No. 8); operative 2-3-2023. On 2-3-2023, the Secretary of State certified that a referendum against Senate Bill 1137 (Gonzalez, Chapter 365, Statutes of 2022) qualified for the November 2024 ballot. Senate Bill 1137 is, therefore, stayed until and unless a majority of voters approve Senate Bill 1137 in the November 2024 general election.

2. Change without regulatory effect repealing section filed 7-8-2024 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2024, No. 28). Applicability of section nullified by effectiveness of underlying statutes [Public Resources code sections 3280-3291] upon withdrawal of Referendum 1940 (22-0006) on 6-27-2024 pursuant to Elections Code section 9604(b).
