A Screening Program psychologically screens candidates for peace officer classifications using the psychological and screening standards in section 599.975 of these regulations. The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation shall psychologically screen candidates for correctional peace officer classifications using the procedures defined in sections 599.975, 599.976, 599.977, 599.978, and 599.979 of these regulations. No agency shall psychologically screen peace officer candidates without prior Department approval, except as otherwise authorized by law. Any request for delegation must be submitted in writing to the Department.
